Muscle Release Technique: Relief for repetitive strain

webtoes1Muscle Release Technique℠ is a style of bodywork developed by Michael Young, a massage therapist who focuses on injuries caused by repetitive strain. Muscle Release Technique℠ is designed to supplement a physical therapy program, and can be utilized for people with a wide range of problems including sports injuries, chronic pain, and repetitive stress injuries. (See list below for specifics)

These types of injuries cause loss of flexibility, chronic pain, aches, stiffness, and other problems. Addressing these issues provides considerable relief.

Muscle Release Technique℠ works by stretching the muscle, breaking down scar tissue, and rebuilding muscle memory. Compression, extension, and gentle movement also help flex the muscle back into shape.

Long term benefits include pain relief, stronger muscles, and increased flexibility. Immediate pain relief is not uncommon, Depending on the type of injury, clients often experience immediate pain relief.

Several sessions may be required to fully resolve an issue, and regular sessions for upkeep are often recommended.
